Hi, I'm Emily, and I document people (and their dogs) at weddings! I live alongside my five amazing, crazy and energetic pups, Nessie, Peach, Sammi, Vinny, and Bobbi. They chew everything they see, take up the whole bed, but most importantly - they give the best hugs.
I became a professional photographer in 2019 and since then have had the opportunity to share incredible moments with numerous couples that will be cherished forever. My goal is to tell the story not only of your wedding day, but of your love.

Thought I'd take advantage of the small space I have on the internet to post photos of my dogs. Heres my only group shot with all 5 of them - Im so proud of my pack for sitting through a photo for a full 3 seconds! Every day is an adventure because of them, and I love every moment of it.

Helping rescue dogs is a huge passion of mine. I organize an annual portrait fundraiser at Omni Brewing that helps raise funds for senior dogs and cats. I also donate dog food monthly to various small rescues.

I'm a true-crime junkie. I watched the genre before it became popular, starting with the release of Deadly Women back in 2005, hosted by my favorite FBI profiler Candice DeLong. Currently, Im binging Evil Lives Here on Discovery+

Im a green card holder and am currently looking forward to passing my citizenship exam!

My name is actually Emanuela, but since no one could pronounce that in Kindergarden, I chose to go by Emily.

I hold a BS in Marketing from Augsburg University because I was originally planning to become the next Don Drapper.

I'm a big fan of the state fair, always look forward to Garlic Fries, Sweet Marthas, Fried Olives and all the beer!

When I retire, I want to build a house in Alaska and adopt a ton of farm animals... and of course more dogs.

I got started in the wedding industry by posting Craigslist ads for event and portrait photography! What started out as a side gig to help pay for school turned into a full time career.

I love a good movie night! Some favorite films: Silence of the Lambs, Titanic, Brokeback Mountain, American Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Childs Play, The Shinning, IT, Final Destination, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, The Ring, etc.

Wedding photography chose me and I fully embraced it. Self taught and armed with a passion for documenting love, photography gives me balance, perspective, and allows me to see things in a different light.
