Do you only photograph weddings?
I often get asked to photograph pets, families and seniors - all of which i love to do!
How do we book you?
Sign the contract and submit a $150 retainer! Just contact me and I can send you all the info you need!
Why do you like wedding photography?
Photography allows me to be creative every single day. I tried a ton of different professional photography, but nothing felt more rewarding and exciting than a wedding.
What if we aren't including our dog in the engagement/wedding?
Thats totally fine! Even though I focus on pet-friendly weddings, I shoot regular weddings just as much.
Are photos edited/retouched?
Yes, they are fully edited to look their best. I created my own presets, so, Emily's Photography editing cannot be replicated and is unique to my brand. I hand edit every photo myself instead of implying 'bulk" editing like many photographers do.
What if I get sick before the wedding?
If you can provide proof of a positive test result and/or reschedule with me, you don't lose anything. Otherwise, you lose your $150 retainer.
When do we receive our wedding gallery?
Within 4 weeks of your wedding date!

Can I bring my dog to the engagement session?
Yes! Please, do. I love dogs at engagements and have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get them to pose/focus. Typically, we will shoot with the dog(s) for 35 minutes, then place them in the car (with AC) for the remaining 25 minutes while focusing on just you two.
Do you post our photos on social media / your website?
Yes. I have full rights to the images I take. There is no exception to this and the contract will outline this as well. Wedding Photography is an art form and as an artist I want to be able to share my work.
Do you provide adventure engagements?
Yes. Engagement sessions that require 1+ hours of hiking/travel start at $450.
When should we do our engagement session?
As soon as possible. Engagement gallery delivery typically takes up to 2 weeks so plan accordingly. It all depends on the season you want and when you're planning to send out invites.
Are you vaccinated?
Yes, I am.
I do, however, believe it is a very personal choice, and do not discriminate against anyone who is not vaccinated or weddings that do not enforce vaccinations.
Can you send us ‘sneak peek’ pictures??
Yes, absolutely! I love to send you a few edited photos shortly after your wedding to keep you going.
Who owns the copyright to the photos?
In USA law, copyright belongs to the person who took the photos. Although I retain the copyright, I allow you to share your photos as per my contract with you. After all, if you can’t share your photos, what’s the point in having me take them for you!
Do you send any un-edited photos?
No. I never send unedited or RAW photos.
What if my venue is forced to shut down due to quarantine?
I have a small retainer, its just $150 of the entire amount. If you cannot reschedule with me for a later date, you lose the retainer. If your new date is TBD, you have up to 1 month post quarantine to reschedule, otherwise the retainer is lost.
Do you photograph small weddings?
Only during off-season or weekdays.
