Stillwater, Minnesota


I had such a great time taking Eric and Samantha's engagement photos in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota, while they were visiting. They are such a fun couple, and we spent the entire shoot laughing.

A little bit about how these two met and what they appreciate most about each other.



We initially connected briefly through Facebook 5 years ago, and then again 8 months ago. We hadn't met in person until November 2024. Samantha knew Erics sister as they were best friends in middle school. She even spent time with Eric's family after he had moved out of his parents' house. They both grew up in the same city in California. Both have faced numerous hardships and challenges that allowed them to connect in a way they hadn't with anyone else before. Their shared faith in Jesus Christ has removed many obstacles from their lives, replacing them with love and understanding.


Eric:


"What I love most about Samantha is her understanding, loving, caring nature, and her drive in life. Her beauty is just an added bonus to her wonderful heart. Speaking freely, I'd say what she loves most about me is my respect, encouragement, support, and love towards her. She would also say I'm attractive, but we both don't fully believe it, which makes it fun and creates an endless cycle of reinforced encouragement."


When asked which Bible verse the couple feels best captures the essence of their relationship, they said:


1 Peter 4:8

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins"
